Haggis Hill

This was my second outing to the wonderfully named Haggis Hill, but like my previous visit there was no sign of unusual little creatures running about the hill. The 52 turbine wind farm on Hadyard Hill in the distance has become the first wind farm in the UK to generate over 100MW of power. According to the book, Discovering Ayrshire by John Strawhorn and Ken Andrew, "Haggis Hill appears just like a haggis when seen from the north!"
