Pen-y-coed photo

Field boundary dyke hidden amongst the trees

The gatepost and field division hidden amongst the trees. They are still shown on the Explorer map which is handy when you are walking in the trees as you can see where you are. Pen-y-coed is a mixed plantation with old broadleaf trees, over planted conifers and some recent broadleaf selections. http://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/en/our-woods/pages/wood-details.aspx?wood=4724
